Sharapova and Vujacic to play wedding in Istanbul

The Turkish city of Istanbul will provide a picturesque venue for the wedding ceremony of Russian tennis star, Maria Sharapova, and her boyfriend, Slovenian basketball player, Sasha Vujacic.
According to London’s Evening Standard newspaper, the duo will tie the knot on November 10.
The choice of Istanbul is no coincidence as Vujacic’s current club, Anadolu Efes, is based in the city and the basketball season will be in full swing in the autumn.
The athletes got engaged in October 2010 and planned to get married this summer, but the big day was postponed due to Maria taking part in Grand Slam events and the London Olympics.
Sharapova says her wedding will be “quite modest, with only the closest people present”.
She crashed out of Wimbledon this Monday, and the 25-year-old lost her World No.1 spot when the new WTA rankings were released.
As for her boyfriend, Vujacic is 28 years old and has played over 500 matches in the NBA for the LA Lakers and the New Jersey Nets.
